Critics Consensus

While its impact is blunted by an overly reverential approach to its subject, Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story remains a reasonably entertaining biopic of the martial arts legend.

Oaklee D An entertaining yet poorly aged biopic with hammy acting, cheesy early 90s Kung Fu action sequences and even cheesier one liners and dialogue. This movie is an example of being a absolute cheese fest and also a fun time. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/14/24 Full Review Liam K Grew up watching this movie and I'd watch it again and again because I love the plot and the chemistry between Jason Scott Lee and Lauren Holly. Whoever hates this movie needs to open their eyes and give their heads a little wobble. I've never seen any of Bruce Lee's movies but this is the only one I'd watch because I can't seem to picture anyone as Bruce Lee other than Jason Scott Lee. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/25/23 Full Review Steve D Its weird approach didn't work for me but it is entertaining. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/01/23 Full Review C. M One of my favorite films. Highly recommend Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/02/22 Full Review Audience Member If you love martial arts and want to see into shoa-long ( Little Dragon - Bruce) This is a must see movie for you with a very sincere touch on the reality about Bruce Lee and his life.
