Prehistoric Planet: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Scott Bryan BBC.com The level of detail in every single scene is stunning. I would highly recommend that if you can; try to see this on the biggest screen you’ve got possible. Rated: Must Watch Sep 26, 2022 Full Review Prehistoric Planet: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Deborah Ross The Mail on Sunday (UK) It is so breathtaking that I often had to pinch myself to remember it wasn’t real. I have quite the sore arm. Rated: 5/5 May 31, 2022 Full Review Prehistoric Planet: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Hugo Rifkind Times (UK) Every bit as amazing as it promised to be, but troubling, too. May 27, 2022 Full Review Prehistoric Planet: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Joonatan Itkonen Toisto.net What Favreau and crew have created is nothing short of a miracle. A time capsule that captures the imagination in the way that Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park did thirty years ago. Rated: 5/5 Jul 3, 2024 Full Review Prehistoric Planet: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Donal Lynch Sunday Independent (Ireland) Nature documentaries can be depressing – undertones of how thoroughly we’re destroying the planet – but this series uses freakishly great CGI and the dulcet tones of David Attenborough to take us back to an earlier time before we ruined everything. Jan 29, 2024 Full Review Prehistoric Planet: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Sarah Ward Concrete Playground As engaging a series as Attenborough has ever fronted, and one that's frequently astonishing. Christopher M The best dinosaur docuseries i have ever seen. You can't go wrong with David Attenborough. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Stego we should make everyone who thinks veloicraptors are 6 foot tall turkeys watch this on loop for the next 10 years. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/11/23 Full Review Ozan Y Genuinely the most incredible piece of paleontology media ever created. Lovers of our world, both as it is now and as it was before, should see this. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review Finitude I can't even explain how amazing this is. The CGI is great in most of the times, the music is amazing an memorable, the concept is incredible and it's very accurate. There are some animals that should not appear in the time period that they're shown in, but in general it's still very scientifically accurate. The dinosaurs, pterosaurs, aquatic reptiles and other animals all look great and are very well represented, being shown, differently from many other documentaries, as what they are, animals. I lived this show and can't wait to watch the second season. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/07/23 Full Review Spencer P Probably the most awe-inspiring look at dinosaurs since the original "Jurassic Park", Jon Favreau's "Prehistoric Planet" not only shows the most currently understood look of the dinosaurs, but also their likely behaviors and personalities. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/01/23 Full Review Regal P The best documentary about dinosaurs ever made. Does not portray them as monsters, but complex, living animals. Incredibly scientifically accurate and realistic, with great OST by Hans Zimmer and awesome narration from Attenborough. A must watch for any dinosaur fan.
